WINTER IS HERE !
Do you like winter sports ? Then everything is possible: cross-country or downhill skiing, with family or friends, competitive or just for kicks.
The domains of Giron, Plateau de Retord, and the Monts Jura, at an altitude between 1,000 m (3,281 ft) and 1,548 m (5079 ft), offer you the topography of the Jura Mountains : undulating plateaus, small valleys with surrounding woods, fir tree forests,...
You don't ski ? Take a walk with snowshoes on marked trails or off-trail with mountain guides. Go for a dogsled ride or even better, learn how to lead your own team of dogs! Admire the Alps from the viewpoint indicators of Catray (accessible by car) or of the Crêt de la Goutte (accessible with snowshoes).
Do you still have energy ? After having taken advantage of this preserved natural area, Bellegarde is waiting for you with its pool, movie theater, and Thursday morning markets.
