• Take a walk on the low elevation differential trails while discovering the wonders of nature: Pertes de la Valserine, Marmites de Géant, Pain de Sucre, ...
• Wait for the ultimate catch as you fish along our rivers: the Valserine and the Semine (where you can find Salmonidaes), and the Rhône (where you can find cyprinids and carnivores).
  

Do you prefer more physical activities?

• A vast network of marked, maintained trails, connected to the Pays de Gex and Haut-Jura's routes, allows you to discover magnificent scenery in a few hours, full day, or an overnight excursion.
• The VTT-FFC "entre Jura et Léman," the French certified mountain biking area offers numerous marked trails; 105 km (65 mi) of these are located on the basin of Bellegarde (3 advanced, 4 intermediate, and 2 novice trails).
• Bicycle touring: two marked trails (116 km/72 mi and 102 km/63.4 mi) start in Bellegarde.

Do you like big thrills?

In this case, do not hesitate to climb our limestone cliffs, to take-off and admire mountains from a paraglider or a plane, to climb on the face of the Via Ferrata, etc.
